Answer This Question

A:  Yes. I have 20’s from a Sierra pick up and they just fit. You should be good. Unless they are really wide

A:  20” rims with an overall diameter of 29” will probably be too big as the tire will touch the wall and most likely not sit properly in the cradle. I measured my bracket and it’s 13” from the wall to the center of the cradle, so that should hold a maximum 27” diameter tire. I’ve got 25” diameter tires on mine and they easily fit without touching the wall.

A:  I use them for tires off a large full size SUV with 20” rims. They fit well. I run a small strap through the center of the tires just as a precaution. Make sure you’re in a stud in both sides when you mount the rack. I also purchased heavy duty hex-bolts just as a precaution, due to the weight of my heavy tires.

A:  I’d assume that they’re 20” wheels with very low profile tires. Mine works great - I have 17” rims with large performance tires for a 2015 Mustang. I’d Recommend it.

A:  The rack uprights that secure to the wall are approximately 24" tall

            A:  I HAVE 235/75 R 15 WORKS FINE WITH SPACE FOR my HUB CAPS LUG NUT;S exc . ( OR even a spare )

            by|Jun 21, 2019

A:  This unit takes up 24-1/2" of depth, 22-1/2" of wall height and between 32' - 48' of wall space (left to right). It does not appear this unit will fit. The red tire loft is larger than this unit, so it would not fit either.

A:  My tires are 32inches they fit fine, 33’s would probably fit but they would not sit all the way down between the two bars. If they are mounted on rims I would be worried about the weight and would purchase two racks, placing two wheels on each rack. The 12.5 width would also be hard if the tires aren’t mounted and you are planning on using one rack. You want to make sure both sides of the rack are mounted directly to a stud meaning it will likely be 48inches wide leaving room for the side rails. The tires would be tight but 12.5’s that aren’t mounted should squeeze.

A:  Yes, though you would need some plywood or some kind of surface to attach to it. Good idea.

A:  It could, a couple of boards between the 2 side brackets would get you about 15 - 16" of work space between the back mount and the side supports. However, if kept loose enough to close easily, it might be too loose to work on.

A:  This product was designed/tested for tire storage. If you were to use it as a work bench you would need to make sure not to excede the 300lb max weight capacity.

A:  I think you could use this as a workbench if you had a surface that would lay across the 2 bars going between the brackets. Only complication is that the work surface wouldn't be secure, it would just be laying on top.

A:  The 1st two images are correct. The 3rd image is of a heavy duty tire rack (item # 01000). We are currently removing the 3rd (right) image of the black tire storage unit.
