A:  Do not see any reason you cannot.

          A:  Sure

          by|May 14, 2023

A:  Believe so but they should be very sturdy leg assemblies, maybe even cross-braced. The top itself is heavy and will be fine as a small table or desk. But, again, I would do more than just screw legs into the top, I would brace substantially.

A:  The product is not designed for this purpose.

Q:can u install a vice on the tool box with the wood top?

                Answer This Question

A:  I'd say not without drilling holes in both the wood top and top of toolbox. The wood top fits on top of the box with a lip around it. The wood would either be raised because the bolt heads on the backside of the vise or you would have to drill holes in the top of the box. Either way it wouldn't be particularly stationary for a vise. The box is light and moves pretty freely.

A:  It is not recommended to install a vise on the Husky tool boxes.

A:  It could, but you might find cheaper same sized dedicated cutting boards elsewhere.

Q:Can I cut (on a table saw) and drill / screw into this material? I would like to use it for a workbench top with different dimensions.

A:  Absolutely. I drilled and secured a router to this table. Didn't cut with saw, but that shouldn't be an issue. I would just use a finishing blade AND try to avoid the horizontal seams.

A:  Yes. The only issue I would see would be the unfinished edge(s) where you cut and drill, which you could easily address.

A:  Yes, you can essentially do whatever you want with this tabletop. I currently have a small vise attached to the plate. I also drilled the board on the metal sheet of my tool cart, so it stays permanently.

A:  Yes, you can drill and screw into the surface of this butcher block. I mounted my top on to a Lagun table mount.
