Q:Will I be able to add a down rod to this fan? I have a 9 foot ceiling
by|Jan 24, 2024

Answer This Question
A: Hello Lynn, this specific fan is designed to be flush mounted and can not be installed with a downrod. No worries, we do have a wide variety of fans that can be installed with a downrod. We recommend the bottom of the fan should be 7' from the floor to get the optimal airflow. Q:The light is not bright enough. What is the highest amount of light bulb that can be used? Thank you

Answer This Question
A: I used LED bulbs in mine and it is very bright. If you're using LED's you can get the brightest available since they do not get extremely hot. If you are using incandescent bulbs, I would not go over 6o watts.
by|Aug 4, 2023
A: Look for a sticker near where the light bulbs screw in. Typically it will read 60 W maximum. This is accounts for the heat of an incandescent bulb, not an LED. Increasing to the 100 W equivalent LED (13 W) should not be an issue.

A: If you look on the Home Depot website, locate the item purchased, scroll down and open specification menu, then scroll down to Details. The information is located there. Most items you can purchase on line have this information included on the products page. Manufacturer has recommended a 9 W LED. I wouldn’t go over that recommendation or you will end up overloading and burning out the fan. I would use the 9 W clear LED bulbs for more light or changing out the somewhat thick light cover for something more transparent.
