A:  I bought this fan for an enclosed sunroom so was not concerned with hardware being rust resistant.

A:  Not sure but It hasn’t rusted yet. We have had it for over a year and it hasn’t shown any rust yet. It doesn’t blow the wind around very much. If you are looking to cool down this is not the fan for you. It looks pretty but doesn’t cool you down.

A:  Don^t worry about hardware. The fan does not put out any air. You have to put on highest speed to get any air from it. Then you get wind noise from it. Fan looks good, but I do not recommend it.

A:  I've had this fan for 1 1/2 years, through all seasons and there is no rust. It hangs on my covered back porch. I would recommend this fan.

A:  Yes, my fan has been hanging for a year on a screened ,closed in porch. There is no rust anywhere. The fan works perfectly and still looks new.

A:  No, there is only one color and it's brown. One side has the design you see on this page and the other side has a different design; but the color is def. brown.

A:  Hello Scott, The blades for the Grand Cayman model have a Blonde Wicker finish on one side and a Blonde Palm Leaf finish on the other side. Thank you!

A:  We did the 'standard' mount and it's 12 inches from the ceiling to the blades. There are 3 mounting options: low, standard and angled.

A:  I believe it is in the specs section. I didn't use the light kit either but where it is located I'm not there at this time. Sorry I could not have been more help. It's a nice fan though!

A:  The lowest point of the blade from the ceiling is 13”

A:  I don't know but I am not happy with this fan. It does not put out much of an air flow. It is nice looking but you have to but it on high speed to get any air.

A:  Hello Dave001, The measurements for the Grand Cayman model using the included 2 inch down rod are as follows: from the ceiling to the bottom of the fan is 12.03 inches, from the ceiling to the bottom of the fan blades is 11.33 inches and from the ceiling to the bottom of the light kit is 17.61 inches. A:  Hi DaDa, We apologize for the inconvenience, but the Grand Cayman model cannot be purchased without a light kit. However, the fan can be installed without the light kit. There will be a switch housing cap/cover included with the fan. Thank you for contacting us!

A:  I don't believe so; however, when I was investigating it, it looked like some others had "customized" the lights to their liking. There's probably a cap at Home Depot that would fit if you want to eliminate the light altogether rather than just leaving the lights off all the time.

A:  Per the Product Overview, the light kit comes with the fan however, can be installed without it.

A:  Since we used the light kit that automatically comes with the fan, I don't really have an answer for this question. We just used whatever came with the fan.
