A:  No you have to use a stem but you get two one is shorter than the other. Shortest is about 1 1/2 long.

A:  I got the Hunter Indoor Elite 52” over a year ago; maybe two years. It’s super quiet and well balanced. I run this ceiling fan “every” day!  And it’s still like new. I’ve had Hunter brand before and I trust that brand completely.I found the best deal at Home Depot!  They came in different sizes and colors.  Hope this helps :)
