Questions and Answers for Hunter Kingsbury 52 in. Indoor Roman Bronze Ceiling Fan

A:  I bought mine one year ago. The fan is dark and looks like the first picture.

A:  The blades are a dark brown walnut/mahogany color with slight variations to create a wood grain look. It is definitely not red.

A:  Dark, rich brown. NOT reddish or mahogany at all. Not so dark that the blades look black, either. We love it. Bought two.

A:  The blades are dark. Shades differ due to the wood grain and the ambient light hitting them, but each is dark in color.

A:  Hello Minnie, No, the Kingsbury model is not a flush mount fan. The closest mounting option will be using the included 2 inch down rod and the measurements are as follows: from the ceiling to the bottom of the fan is 11.02 inches, and from the ceiling to the bottom of the fan blades is 9.93 inches Thank you for contacting Hunter Fan Company!

A:  No more than 4". You can buy a different mounting kit I believe. Pretty fan but it honestly doesn't push down a lot of air. I was disappointed however, it is very quiet and like I said, very pretty.

A:  Unfortunately not very long. You can buy A rod at Home Depot but unless you have a really tall ceiling it will probably be too long. I wish they would’ve included a ride for an angled ceiling in the box. I added up just using the short one that came with it because otherwise you have to buy an angled one from the manufacturer and then you end up with shipping charges etc. but I’ll probably end up having to do that eventually because otherwise you just don’t get the best airflow. It’s a beautiful unit except for that !

A:  First, I love this fan - it is beautiful & silent. I also mounted mine on a vaulted ceiling. I remember a 12 inch downrod coming with the fan. I purchased a 4 foot one at Home Depot & my electrician installed that one. Make sure you know the exact length & color you need as there are many options.

A:  Downrod is not long. You need to purchase the size you need. The fans are beautiful.

A:  Hi eja, From a distance of 4 to 5 feet, the two finishes will look nearly identical. While the base color of Roman Bronze is very similar to oil rubbed bronze, the Roman bronze finish has some lighter highlights not typically found in Oil Rubbed Bronze. Thank you!
