A:  Hi Anneliese, yes, this fan can be installed on a sloped ceiling. However, if your slope is greater than 34 degrees you will need an angle mount and you may need a longer downrod. A:  I have a 52 inch white Channing ceiling fan that is a little over 3 years old and it is not controllable by a phone but i love it. I don't know if you can use 40 inch blades on it.

A:  by flush mounted are you talking about with the fan blades? if you are going to keep the blades then you will need the small base above the blades otherwise there might be an issue with the blades touching the ceiling. hope this helps.
