      Q:Why doesn't Hunter answer such a simple question as the diameter of the neck opening so people know if it fits? It's silly to leave this info out of the specifications. The fan model number isn't relevant, it's the light kit that matters.

        A:  IMO, the Hunter answers are idiotic. People have asked a simple question. What is the neck diameter to know if it fits the fan housing. Any glass globe the right size can be used. I have measured my fan housing and I know what I need.

                A:  It wasn't the size as much as the lip at the top wasn't large enough that the screws caught it to holg it in place.
