A: It is bare wood. This gives you the option to stain, coat with polyurethane or paint it. So, it's best to prime bare wood before painting it.

A: I would recommend drilling in a pocket hole and screwing the two pieces of wood together. You will need to buy a pocket hole jig to drill the holes.

A: Hi Billybob, thank you for your inquiry. Typically you would just cut the 2 pieces on a 45 and adhere them together with glue and finishing nails. The other option is, in store may have longer lengths available.

A: Its not a very thick material. We cut all of our molding at home with a saw. Its not hard to do it all.

A: Only to allow you to get it home in your car, (cut in half) no cuts to a specific length.

A: I had this delivered to the work site. I then cut to length using a miter saw.
by|May 5, 2023
A: I know they will make cuts for you I don't know if they will make mitre cuts though. Also they may be using a coarse blade to make cuts which is not recommended for molding generally. I would call your local store and ask. Good luck
