A:  Hi lollipop! To change the belt on your Mach Cyclonic Bagless Upright please remove the 6 screws from the bottom plate, then lift off the plate. Discard the used belt, then slide one end of the new belt onto the end of the motor shaft. Place the other end of the belt over the large pulley while rolling the pulley towards you. Turn the brushroll to ensure it turns freely without resistance. Once completed be sure to replace the bottom plate and screws. Hope this helps! –Karissa, Hoover Customer Care
