Answer This Question

A:  You can buy another button and key it to the chime unit. Each button can be assigned a different chime so you will know which door is of interest.

A:  You should be able to as long as you Code them the same. So the one transmitter will activate both chimes at the same time.

A:  Hello Weejii! Unfortunately, the Honeywell 6 Tune Battery Powered Door Chime does not allow more than one door chime to be connected. However, door chime model #RDWL917AX will allow you to connect up to six wireless transmitters. This does include additional door chimes such as model #RCWL330A. I hope this helps. Than you.

A:  Comes with everything you need. I only purchased an additional push button transmitter to match my door as the one it comes with is basic white.

A:  It's been a while since I bought and installed mine. You may have to provide 4 C batteries. Mine has Duracells in it, which I doubt would come with even a Honeywell. The specs listed on the Home Depot site neglect to list what comes with the unit. I know it came with a mounting bracket (makes it easy to take it down and take it with you), and the hardware for mounting. You can have up to 6 wireless transmitters (inexpensive), and program each to light up a different icon on the unit so you know where the button (or door or window sensor) activated is located. I did buy a black doorbell button ("transmitter"), as it comes with only a white one. That seems to be a problem for many buyers who otherwise love the unit. Specs say it does not come with Westminster chime (the chime of "Big Ben"), but that is exactly what it comes with. Love it.

A:  Yes, the chime includes one push-button. The add-on's you reference, black and chrome for 300 Series, is identical in size and function as the push button that comes with the chime unit, except for color.
