        A:  Hi, The button directly connects to the chime so there is no need for a transformer. Please give us a call at 1-800-468-1502 if you have any further questions or concerns. You can reach us from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m. CST on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Thank you!
