A:  With no pets or smokers in the house, I change mine once a year.

A:  Every 90 days.

A:  Due to the kind of dual-unit HVAC system we have, we are only required to change our air filters every 6-9 months… can be 12 if desired! There are some units that require the air filter to be replaced every 3 months, which is the most  common. This air filter in question is more efficient and lasts up to 12 months; it does a pretty good job of keeping our air quality fresh and clean. Still, you should check your specific HVAC requirements to learn how often you should change the air filter.  

A:  I change my furnace bi monthly

A:  Merv 12 filters better, filtering more dust and dirt out. The 8 flows better and doesn't filter as much but, your furnace/ AC doesn't have to work as hard, so the units use less electricity
