A:  I have more than one and they are great. I have a couple loaded down with plants during the winter. I have another that I have used for movies and books. The shelves adjust with plastic inserts to hold them.

A:  Yes, the legs can be easily removed, but as you increase the weight load on the shelf it will be harder to remove the legs. Removing and then rebuilding the shelf will also cause wear and tear on the plastic shelf sleeves (the plastic clips), so I would recommend getting additional sleeves as back-ups.

A:  No, I have these in my bathroom closet and you could probably fit one on the top shelf but there isn't enough space between the shelves to fit a full size bin. I have large rectangular baskets on mine with very little room left over.

A:  This shelving unit MAY hold the 72 qt. Tubs, but I wouldn’t recommend putting that much weight on the shelves. It’s not made of industrial strength metal, so you may want to look at something more commercial and substantial.

A:  Yes, But you need to cut the metal legs from the top and then replace the plug.

A:  Home Depot has a wide variety of shelving options. I think the only way you could shorten the legs would be to cut them, which would require a specific saw. Go to your local Home Depot and check out what they have in house.

A:  They adjust. Those are plastic caps that snap on the "legs" to hold the shelf where you want it.
