A:  Hi hurmmark, You use water at a very bare minimum, if ever, for cleaning hardwood floors. We carry hardwood floor cleaning kits by Bruce and Bona online and at your local store that does a great job of routinely maintaining them. A:  When installed over a concrete floor, a moisture barrier is required. When installing a floating floor laying a foam underlayment under the flooring has several benefits such as reducing sound transfer and the "hollow sound", correcting minor subfloor imperfections and providing extra thermal insulation. Some underlayment also provide the moisture barrier that is required when installing over concrete. For more information on the benifits of underlayments compare underlayment spec's for various underlayment manufactures.

A:  To keep our floors from creaking, it would have to be discovered what is making it creak; these sounds are not normal, especially if they happen consistently. If you are experiencing this issue with one of our floors, please contact the retailer you purchased our flooring from to file a warranty claim on it.

A:  It is recommended to install a floating floor underlayment under all of our click-lock flooring selections, but it is not required by the warranty. To answer your question, you do not NEED to install padding underneath the click-lock flooring.
