Dowsby vanity is not available without the Toffee finish, nor can the glaze be sanded down as only the door, decorative drawer fronts, and trim are manufactured out of solid German beech wood; the frame of vanity is composed out of engineered wood with a laminate overlay. Also, please take into consideration that the Dowsby collection and Toffee finish have been discontinued, they are in the process of being phased out. Best Regards.

We can confirm that if you were to butt the two 48 in. cabinets next to each other you are putting the cabinet at risk for rubbing and other complications since there will be no divider between your drawer fronts as the drawer is flush with the edge of the vanity cabinet. Our best recommendation would be for you to consider the 48 in. Home Decorators Brinkhill cabinet in a Chocolate finish as an alternative to the Dowsby. A:  JJ, We do not offer fillers for the Downsby, you can do the same thing with a 3" piece of wood and get it stained to match by taking the door or drawer into Home Depot to get the stain colored matched. Thanks,
