A:  I was hoping it would be, but I wouldn't trust using it for seating, I don't think that the lip that holds the trays in place would hold up to an adults weight. It really seems to only be an ottoman.

A:  No, definitely not. The design creates very poor stability. It can be 'beefed' up very easily, but straight from the factory, it is too flimsy.

A:  It could be used for extra seating at a party, but not long-duration use. The cushions are all braced on the interior and secured with several screws. Unless they are also glued (which you can't tell), they might come loose during repeated use as seating.
