A:  Hi "Lookingfor1rod", unfortunately we do not sell individual rods; we only sell the full rod sets which includes; the extendable curtain rod, finials, brackets, & mounting hardware. We also offer additional replacement finals through our Mix & Match program. Hope that’s clear and you can find the single rod you need.

A:  I HAVE MINE SUPPORTED ON THE ENDS AT 8 FT, I USED ONE IN THE CENTER FOR EXTRA SUPPORT. ( I AM USING ROOM DARKRNING CURTAINS THAT ARE NOT VERY HEAVY)

A:  We use a center support. I believe it was included with the rod (we've had it a while, so I don't really remember). I would definitely suggest using one to prevent it from bowing under the weight of the curtains.

A:  It will be three pieces. The original rod will have 2 pieces and the extender will go between the two, thus 3 pieces. I'd suggest you use the wall bracket support in the center of the rod.
