Q:I need a 6 foot downrod to go with this fan. What brand do I need or will any work? I would like one that matches.

Answer This Question
A: There are multiple downrods to choose from when you search "extended downrod" on The Home Depot website. Any brand will work as long as the downrod is threaded and has a 3/4 in. interior diameter and a 1 in. exterior diameter. The original finish for this model is Natural Iron, but if you cannot find downrods in that finish, a matte black finish could match closely.

A: Not recommended, each fan should have its own remote, you may call 1-877-527-0313 for other remote options.

A: You should if the wall switch and the two fans are all set to the same code. The wall switch and the module for each fan can all be set to the same code. This was done so that you don’t accidentally control your neighbors fan.

Q:Do I have to use the included Wall Control or can I use a standard luxtron fan/light wall control with "special wiring" for fans with lights?
by|Jan 29, 2019
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: No, you must use a fan rated wall switch that has "stepped" fan speed controls. Basically a wall switch that has speed selections 1-3.
The dimming of the LED is only possible with the installation of the receiver and the use of the remote. Wall slide controls used to bypass the remotes will not be able to dim the light. Luxtrons are not tested with our fans and are not recommended to use.
