Q:I am very pleased with this vanity top which I have had for about a year now. Somehow or other I have managed to get a tiny chip in the edge which has gone through to the white beneath. Is there anything you can suggest to repair this?

A: JK, Thank you for your inquiry. We can confirm that there are no repair instructions for cracks or chips. If you do, however, experience a small scratch, we typically recommend the use of a very fine sandpaper (such as 1200 grit) and water to buff out the area. Best Regards.

We can confirm that we would not recommend using a belt sander to round out the edges of the Stone Effects vanity top in Rustic Gold as any modifications to the product will instantly void your Limited Lifetime Warranty. Therefore, if any damages were to occur to the product during, or after, the modification, it would not be available for a warranty claim. Best Regards.

The reason for this is because the appearance of the vanity top colors greatly depends on the lighting and wall color of your bathroom. Q:this top is too wide. I need a 43" wide top. What kind of composite is this and can it be cut? What kind of blade would do the job? Do I need a tile blade or would a wood blade work? I know this would VOID any warranty, but I need to cut the top. Thx.
