A:  Hi Marci, no, the drawers do not lock. No, there is no option to add on, thank you.

A:  No, they only pullout. No options with purchase.

A:  The drawer pulls can be changed easily. The drawer glides and the rest of the hardware is not interchangeable because of the pre-drilled holes that are set up exactly for the hardware included. But I think it would be a simple thing to change the knobs on the drawers.

A:  They don’t open all the way, so if you have your drawer jam packed then it may be hard to get stuff out of the back files. I don’t jam pack my drawers so it is fairly easy for me to scoot my back files forward enough to get stuff out of them.

A:  The drawer pulls out to the end(back of drawer is at front of case) and stops. You can reach any file in drawer.

A:  I have had no trouble getting to files in the back. The only problem I've had is that some of them do not pull out very smoothly.

A:  Yes. Drawers pull all the way out. It is advisable to tether the cabinet to a wall stud. Also don’t pull out multiple full drawers at the same time. Otherwise cabinet may topple (if not tethered securely to a wall stud).

A:  Mine sits on carpet - works great!

A:  Hi OhioanInVA, the distance from floor to the bottom of drawer is 3”. There should be enough clearance to the carpet underneath.

A:  No problem at all...lower drawer slides just as easily as the other three drawers---(placed on carpeted flooring).

A:  Works fine on carpet. Not even an issue. Drawer slides out & in very smoothly.
