A:  Not 100 percent blocking but they filter out about 40 % of the sunlight

      Q:The black version of this curtain is pictured with the objects beyond very visible, indicating that the curtain is see through or mesh. The other colors are pictured as relatively opaque, blocking the view of the outdoors. Can you please clarify if the black curtains are actually as see through as they appear as pictured?

        Q:Do they help keep mosquitoes out when closed?

        A:  The fabric of the curtain is fine enough to keep out mosquitos, but unless you sew them together and fasten them to the wall, they don't make a continuous barrier. If it wasn't windy, they might at least cut down on mosquitoes if carefully positioned.

          A:  No, this is not a mosquito net, however mosquitoes cannot pass through the material.

            A:  Stan, I have tried to locate the other product number provided, I could not locate an item. This curtain is available in black and the material is black, whether you choose black, green, etc, the material itself is black. Thank you for your interest in The Home Depot.

                  A:  No clips. There's a tab sewn onto the back side of the curtain for the rod to go through.

                        A:  There is a Hem at the bottom of the curtain but there are no weights in them. The wind blows them up at times but I have heavier curtains on the sides that help keep them down.
