A:  Hello, thank you for taking the time to reach out. Yes, the shades can be cleaned. To dust use a dry cloth, feather duster or a vacuum with brush attachment, like with most shades. You can also get dust and debris off the shade with compressed air or a hair dryer on a cool setting. (Just make sure to move the shade into a position where you can get at every nook, cranny and cell!) If you must do a spot cleaning, avoid any scrubbing or creasing the cells. Then leave the shade to dry out while completely lowered. -GO

A:  Thank you for your question. The best way to clean cellular shades is by using the suction portion of the vacuum to clean the dust from the shade. You can also use a damp cloth with dish soap (no bleach) to spot clean the shades.

To activate the system, gently lower the shade to the full extension of the height and then raise the bottom rail back up to the headrail. You should start to feel the tension tighten. Repeat until the shade works as it should. A:  Hello, thank you for your purchase of Home Decorators collection window treatments and taking the time to reach out please confirm the brackets are installed correctly. The longer side should be at the top and the shorter side of the bracket on the back. When the brackets are properly installed within/on the window opening, clip the elongated part of the bracket over the front of the headrail and push the back of the headrail up into the back of the bracket until it clips into place. -GO
