To dismount the shade, using a flat headed screwdriver you can push the bottom of the bracket from the back toward the window and bring the shade out towards you, tilting upward to unlatch from the top lip. A:  Thank you for your interest in the Shadow White Cordless Blackout Cellular Shades for Windows. Please note when ordering for inside mount 71 you will still order at 71" as our shades actual size will be 70 3/4" to be able to fit in the window as inside mount. -SS
