Q:Can Homex wall orange peel be "knocked down" prior to painting. Can it be sanded prior to painting?
    by|May 12, 2016
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  For best knockdown results, use the Homax Knockdown Spray Texture. But a heavy Orange Peel Texture can be lightly knocked down, it will just be smaller texture. You can sand the texture very lightly before painting but be careful not to remove too much texture.

        Answer This Question

A:  For best results, we recommend using the Aerosol Popcorn Ceiling Texture to patch your popcorn ceiling above your shower. We don't recommend using the Orange Peel Wall Texture - it will not spray on the ceiling or match your existing popcorn texture.
