                      A:  The primary method is very good double sided tape. If for some reason that will not work there are two small screws that can be used. Our door frame is painted wood and the tape has worked well for about 2 years so far.

                      A:  It attaches either by using the included two sided tape or two small screws. The tape worked well. Just make sure the surface is smooth and clean before using the tape.
