Q:Is the cover real metal or painted plastic? Does this have a real chime or just an electric speaker inside?

    Q:What voltage is recommended for this chime? My transformer is putting out 20 Volts. I can't find a manual for it so I don't know if it is supposed to be 20 or something else, or if that is an acceptable variation from 16.

      A:  Hello, We are not aware of any reason it would not work with simplisafe video doorbell. However we do recommend to check with the video doorbell manufacture to confirm compatibility.

              Q:Will this work with the Nest Hello? I've been using it as a regular doorbell for years and it has worked fine. Tried hooking up the nest hello and it rang by itself and started to make an awful vibration sound.
