A: Our stayed with just the suction cups for a while, but we deiced to have a handyman add screws to attach them permanently to the tile.

A: Nothing works, it always falls off. Finally we put it on the wall outside the bathtub with screws.

A: I purchased this for my mom after her hip surgery. I couldn't find any suction grab bars that would stay on more than a couple of weeks. She didn't want to drill into the tile to install a permanent grab bar. It's very important, however, that you use the right size grab bar with the right size shower tile or it won't even hold a day. The suction cups can't be positioned over any grout lines.

Answer This Question
A: I wouldn't recommend it. The suction ends are about 4 inches in diameter. I dont think you would get a sufficient seal between the suction cup and the tile due to the grout lines.
