A: Hi Pjcool! Harris 1 Gal. Bed Bug Killer directions state do not come in contact with surfaces until after it has dried. Vacating the house is not necessary but treating one room at a time and not returning until the spray has dried (usually a couple of hours) is recommended. Thank you for your question! //pfharris//

Q:Will these products work in a car? How and where do you apply? Gave a guy a ride and found out he was carrying bed bugs. Vacuumed car about 2 hours later and while doing so found 2 adults and 2 nymphs. I don't want to bring these into my house.

A: Leave your car sit in the sun all day with the windows rolled up , the heat will kill any bed bugs.

A: Set the traps down on the car floor, the bugs love going into creases so I would sprinkle the powder in those and to SPRAY, SPRAY, SPRAY! I can almost never get rid of mine but being persistent with these disgusting pests is the trick.
