A:  I am an engineer by trade so I was very intrigued to see if it was truly 2.5 gallons. I got a 5 gallon bucket and timed it twice for a minute each time. I live in a rural area so I have a well and the pressure varies from 45 to 60 PSI. Each time the shower put out a little less than 2.5 gallons so it was close. Certainly enough to give a satisfying shower. This is unscientific as volume depends on delivery capacity of your house piping. Most municipal water is supplied in that pressure range or slightly less. Only the manufacturer can give you the information on how it was certified at 2.5 GPM. Hope this helps.

A:  Yes. Recommend shower arm from 9" to 15" depending on the model. The 12" diameter shower head has a recommended 15" arm but should work with a 9". I would suggest a ceiling mounted support for the longer arm.

A:  Dee, The showerhead can be wall or ceiling mounted. Your choice. I would have preferred a ceiling mount but my walk-in shower was already piped for a high wall mount.
