A: Plastic. I've had it for awhile now and there really great. The only downfall is after a few downpours it clouds up the top on the solar power.

A: Yes, the battery can be changed. Just make sure the replacement battery is a rechargeable battery and has the same mAh or higher. Do not use a battery with a lesser mAh than the battery that's being replaced.

A: Twist off the cap that has the solar panel, then look underneath it for the on/off switch.
by|May 5, 2023
A: Once you pull the tape off the battery department and seat batteries correctly there is no on or off switch. If positioned to catch sunlight, the lights turn on automatically at dusk and stay on until solar power is used (perhaps 7 hours).

A: Twist the top section (solar panel) off and look under that panel and you will see the switch.

A: I bought 2 boxes of these lights. One set had lights with a switch under the top section (below the solar panel). The other set had no switches and could not be manually turned off. Gently twist the top section with the solar panel to remove it and look for a small switch. It may not have one.

A: You’ll need to carefully twist the solar cap counterclockwise to get to the switch under the cap.
