A: Great question and thank you for asking! The Hampton Bay base molding is painted on the front and bottom surfaces only. It is not painted on the back, left end or right end. This molding can be trimmed to desired length leaving a raw, non-painted end. If you would like to paint the ends, please be sure to discuss your finish matching options with your local Home Depot.
