Answer This Question

A:  Dear customer, it is fairly simple to care for and maintain a laminate floor. Basically you have to wipe up any liquid spills immediately. This product is not water proof, and if any liquids get in to the seams it could cause swelling and buckling.

A:  Yes, the laminate is water resistant.

      Answer This Question

A:  HL1055 DAKOTA OAK IS A CLICK LOCK/ FLOATING FLOOR , Decide on the range of widths you want to use. Calculate the square footage of all the boards you need to buy by adding the widths of all the boards you will use and determining the percentage of each width relative to the total width. Unpack the boards three days before installation and allow them to acclimate. Start laying the flooring against a wall, leaving a 3/8-inch expansion gap between the groove side of the boards and the wall. Choose a different width for the second row. Stagger the ends of the boards at least 6 inches from the ends of those in the first row. Vary the widths randomly as you lay the rest of the boards. you may have to install two rows with the same-width boards to avoid falling into a pattern. Second row.
