Q:What color is tuscan copper - is it like an oil rubbed bronze color?

    Answer This Question

A:  It's not what I would call copper... it's more dark brown... without the highlights you see in oil rubbed bronze color but with a little black for texture.

    Q:clip on lamp shades

    Answer This Question

A:  My shades are 5.5 inches wide at the bottom. As you can see it is a tight fit with the stem and crystals almost touching it half way up. I don't think a small clip on drum shade would fit.

A:  I tried 40 watt each, but didn't seem bright enough.. but it will take up to 60 watt each. A bit bright but great with mini shades.

          Answer This Question

A:  This is not recommended for out door use. That said, I think it would look great if it had at least a 9 ft ceiling and enclosed enough to not get wet even if it gets really windy and rainy.

          by|May 3, 2023

          A:  Absolutely NOT.

A:  Wow.. you must have a huge kitchen island! I have this over my 4x4 ft. kitchen table and it's just the right size. It's about 19" wide, and 23" tall, not counting the hanging chain.

A:  Hi Me1212, It's not so much the fixture you have, its the light bulbs you use as well as the dimmer you have now that will determine if it can be dimmed. If the dimmer is a knob style as you say, it is most likely rated only for incandescent and halogen bulbs. These would be the only rated bulbs to use for them. However, if you would like to place LED or CFL bulbs in them, you'd need to use a dimmer that is rated for them and making sure those bulbs state they are dimmable. We carry dimmable LED and CFL bulbs at your local Home Depot and here online, as well as newer dimmers that work for all light bulbs. Joseph
