A:  No, you cannot connect the Hampton Bay Kristin Chandelier to an electrical outlet. It is hardwire only, not plug in.

A:  This will need to be hardwired so can connect to a wall switch.

A:  Good question. I hooked them to one of the leaves around the candle light -- there's already a drop hanging there, but the fastener for the chain fit too. It wasn't clear where to attach it, but from looking at pictures close-up, that was the best I could figure.

A:  I would suggest going to your local Home Depot to look at the chandelier. Basically, l goes in front and the other 2 go on the side. I went back to the Home Depot to see how these were installed. Linda

A:  I would think it is entirely possible, the embellishment crystal prism things look fairly standard to me and there are companies out there that sell replacement chandelier parts. I know this because I broke a crystal on an outside light and had to locate it. The embellishments hook onto the light with those little round double loop things you see on keys, you pry them slightly apart and place on the light.
