Q:Can you use as indoor plant light? Which plant bulb is best?

    Answer This Question

A:  I only use this as an accent light

    by|Aug 13, 2022

A:  The lamp was designed to sit on the floor. It uses a R20 shaped bulb with an E26 (standard medium) based socket. Depending on what you will be using it for would determine how many lumens (brightness) you need.

Q:Can I use a led bulb and keep the light on 23/7 without worry?

        Answer This Question

A:  We have two in use typically 12-15 hours a day. I personally would not worry if I left mine on for 23 hours. LED light bulbs that fit this size lamp won't use any more than 7-8 watts. Make sure you have proper ventilation and proper wiring.

        by|Jun 9, 2022

A:  Should not be a problem if not being used in a wet or damp location. However, be sure to make note of the hour life expectancy of the LED bulb being used.

A:  Item uses a R20 or PAR 20 bulb. Would not recommend using 24/7. Think about using a timer with lamp.

            Q:Will the fixture house a 3.75" PAR30 light bulb?

            Answer This Question

A:  This floor lamp uses a E26 base (Medium base) R or PAR 20, 50W max light bulb. The R or PAR 30 will not fit. If you want more lumen output, use a LED bulb with higher lumens. Will not affect the max wattage rating.

A:  No. The housing is only wide enough to fit R20 which is 20x1/8 inches (2.5") wide. Wider than that -- R30, which is 30x1/8 inches (or 3.75 ") wide -- will not fit.

Q:Will an E27 LED bulb work in this fixture?

                    Answer This Question

A:  The user manual states: Designed to accommodate a 50 watt MAX, R20/PAR20 bulb or CFL equivalent. It has a standard bulb insert fixture. I use a standard bulb of fifty watts. Just so you are aware, I have three of these lamps on top of my desk hutch to provide an even light in the office at home. They work great in that manner. I wish you well. They last forever and are a good way to provide light.

Q:how bright is this light? I actually need it to light up the kitchen

                    Answer This Question

A:  I have it in a corner on the floor as an up light so I don't know how bright a light you would want in your kitchen and you would have to hang it from the wall. Probably not a good choice for your use

                    by|Jul 8, 2021

A:  These lights are kind of directional. You can put any bulb in them that fits but due to their shape and size they are a bit limited. You could get a spot or flood light with a long neck that might help you. If you have not purchased the light yet you may want to consider a different model that will suit your needs better. I hope this was helpful. Dean

A:  It depends on what bulb you put in. We use 3000K small floodlights with a dimmer. They look great.

A:  Mine didn’t come with a light it was just a fixture I put a Phillips hue color lightbulb in it.

                    by|Mar 20, 2021

A:  A 50 Watt incandescent or halogen light bulb is approximately 500 lumens. This fixture uses and E26 base R20 type light bulb. You can replace the bulb with a LED bulb that is much brighter.
