Answer This Question
A: Assuming this is the matching cord, you remove an end cap from the track using a Philips Head screwdriver, then insert the adapter with the cord. Tighten with the screwdriver and you should be in business.

A: If the track kit you purchased is a 3 bus system or H track (as sold in stores), yes this product will convert it for use with a wall plug.
However, the product you selected has been discontinued and replaced by an upgraded version. The good news, at a lower cost.
Please look at Store SKU #1004612880. This can be ordered online for delivery or pickup or can be purchased directly from the store.

Answer This Question
A: The live end power feed is an archival product accessory that can only be used in conjunction with its associated track and track heads. When assembled, it is considered a portable lamp which does not require a ground wire.
There is a pre-stamped ground screw hole within the power feed if you wanted to swap out the existing cord with grounded wire and plug.

Answer This Question
A: Yes. You would not use the floating power feed that is included with the track it. Instead you remove the dead end cap from the end of the track and plug this unit into the end of track. Then plug the other end into a receptacle.
