Q:I was planning on buying a few of these fans in the brass, white, and bronze finishes. However, it says they out of stock. Any idea when they will be available for purchase?

    A:  Thank you for your question. This fan is compatible with universal ceiling fan remote controls. The receiver from the universal remote must be installed in the canopy of the fan and connected to the fan wires.

      A:  Thank you for your question. This fan has a manual revers switch. The switch is located on the switch cup just above the light kit. If you are purchasing the Lyndhurst with Remote bundle item, the remote does not have a reverse function.

              A:  Thank you for your question. Yes, the fan has separate wires for fan speed power (black) and light power (blue) so that the fan can be connected to separate switches.

                  A:  Thank you for your question. Yes, this fan can be turned on/off using a wall switch. The fan has separate wires for fan speed power (black) and light power (blue). The fan can be controlled via wall mounted speed control device if desired as well.

                    A:  Sorry to hear that you are having this issue. The Wink system is designed to work via the Wink Hub and the Wink App. Voice control via is Amazon and Google devices is not supported though some have been able to make it work by various methods. It may be a situation of the controls getting out of sync when using the remote vs the IFTTT methods. For true Alexa ceiling fan control, we would suggest the new Universal Wifi remote (model #99434).

                      A:  @Hampton Bay Expert Thanks for your quick answer. When the problem happens, I've seen the fan not accessible over wink app as well. I'll recheck and get back on that. Btw, Thanks for the suggestion to use Universal Wifi remote (model #99434). However it costs pretty much half the price of the fan and doesn't make sense to spend another full fledged remote. We just need an addon for alexa/google. Because for $10, i can get decent electric socket that works well with Alexa/Google/IFTTT. I suppose you might need to develop a small addon for alexa/google.
