A:  Hi JJ69, Areas where the flooring would be repeatedly exposed to moisture is not recommended, but if you choose to install it in a bathroom you must ensure to keep moisture away from the flooring as best as possible.

A:  If you haven't already done so, go directly to the manufacturers website for installation instructions. Each product may have a different installation method, so be sure to go to Hampton Bay. The mfg info is on the packaging and visiting the site will also let you know about precautions and suggestions for your particular area of the country. We did not install our Hampton Bay Old Mill Hickory flooring ourselves since we were able to get a whole home installation deal we couldn't refuse from Home Depot.
