A:  No, you can fasten them together with screws but you may need to cover the backside with something since that will be exposed.

A:  The cabinets should fit tight together and then your countertop holds them together. This filler is really on for when you have more space than your cabinets will fill for example when trying to fill all the space between appliances on a wall.

A:  You shouldn't, but you will need an island back panel and outside corner molding.

Keep in mind that this is only 3" wide, but it is 91-1/2" tall and can be trimmed to the height needed for your project.
