      Answer This Question

A:  We would recommend not to use it if it's directly over the shower, but if it's being used in the bathroom it will be OK.

A:  Yes, this product does not include a light and can be installed over a shower with a water resistant light.

Q:Now have regular light want to replace with recessed but will have to move hole over and repair drywall. Will this cover that area so no repair needed

          Answer This Question

A:  That will depend on how far you move the hole over. The can is 6" across, and the trim extends that by about 1" all around. Unless you are only widening the hole to insert the can, you should plan on doing some repair work.

A:  No, I don't think that it will be wide enough. But check the dimensions on the product description for more accurate info and see it it will suit your needs.

Q:I have Hampton Bay ceiling fans installed in my home. I was pleasantly surprised to see this product, as I am about to hire a contractor to install my recessed lighting. I am looking to have ten to twelve lights installed. Can someone please tell me what model and brand of recessed lights work with this product? Thanks.

A:  No. The baffle part of these goes from the rim up to the socket in a regular size can.
