A:  Walter- This wall plate is Height = 5 3/8" by Width = 3 1/2". This is the only size we manufacture these plates in. I apologize.

A:  Hello Paul, The Material of the Hampton Bay Cabin 1 Gang Duplex Wood Wall Plate is Birch/Alder wood.

A:  The wallplate comes with screws, no need to buy them separately.

A:  Yes but you should rub the stain on with a cloth. Do not apply stain with a brush or sponge & then wipe off. This wood absorbs the stain very quickly making the piece too dark.

A:  No, it comes with holes for the screws. I would suggest using Velcro to secure it to the wall instead of gluing, that's what I did.
