A:  The light is solid construction, so it won't sway as needed for vaulted ceiling. It's definitely designed for a flat surface.

A:  we broke ours as well....both Home Depot and the manufacturer told us we could not buy a globe replacement. We took the dimensions and found a replacement by looking at other globes in lighting departments....it's not exact but works. Take a piece of the broken globe and dimensions and you might be able to find something. Home Depot will not let me post where we found ours.
