    A:  Dear valued consumer, this is just the trim. You would need a dimmer rated for whatever type of lamp/light bulb you plan on using (incandescent, CFL, LED, etc).

      A:  Dear valued consumer, while it is recommended for use with a PAR 30 incandescent lamp, you can use an LED lamp as well. Just be sure to read the fine print on the lamp and ensure that it is rated for use in a housing as many are not and you will not receive the expected life from the lamp. As always, we recommend upgrading to an LED retrofit fixture as they are made specific for this type of application.
