A: Yes, if used with a ceiling fixture rated for in shower use. This is the trim only but can be used with several different lights, some that are rated for wet conditions

A: No. This trim is not a wet-location rated trim that is required for use in a shower. Available wet-location trims on HD.com are the 5054PS and the 5150WH.

A: Yes, the Halo 5000P trims is compatible with the Halo H5ICAT housing. The socket from the housing will clip to the top of the trim and can be positioned for either a Par30 or R30 type / size lamp.

A: This can be used with the following lamps: H5ICAT / H5RICAT 65W BR30, 75W R30, 75W PAR30; H25ICAT 50W PAR30L, 50W PAR30, 60W BR30; H5T / H5RT 75W R30, 75W PAR30, 50W R20, 50W PAR20.

A: This item is the trim that must be used with a 5" recessed housing (i.e.- Halo H5ICAT; H5RICAT; E5ICAT; E5RICAT). The lamp used must be rated for use in enclosed recessed housings and must not exceed the rated wattage of the housing. Incandescent, CFL and LED lamps can be used with this trim, with the preferred type / size being R30 or Par30. LED lamps use less wattage than incandescent lamps, while producing similar or higher lumen output. Check the lamp manufacturer to make sure the lamp is compatible for use with recessed housings.
