A:  place the screw in the hole on the back side of the door and start screwing it in. it will go through the other side into the handle.

A:  Yes, it is easiest to first pierce the plastic with the screw, back the screw out, then attach the handle. The directions for this miss mentioning a screw. It is the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7 screws you need to attach.

A:  Hi Karen, Yes, you will puncture through the plastic with the screws. As I recall, there is a molded indention where you start the screw. Be sure to include the spacer between the door and the handle to prevent the screw from protruding through the handle. Travis

A:  Yes, but use a drill. If you try to puncture it the door around the holes will shatter

A:  Line the handle up and put the screws in the correct holes. They will puncture the drawer and doors then go into the handles. Do not over tighten or you will strip the plastic and the handles will not stay on.
