Answer This Question
A: The 01340 is designed to be used as part of a fall protection system in conjunction with a shock-absorbing rope grab assembly such as the Guardian Fall Protection 01503 (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Guardian-Fall-Protection-Rope-Grab-with-Attached-3-ft-Shock-Absorbing-Lanyard-01503/203508626). The turned-back end is not load-bearing and is meant only to prevent the rope grab from coming off of the end of the rope when in use.
Thank you,
Guardian Fall Protection

Q:Is the loop on the end of the rope large enough to allow the snaphook to be threaded through it?

Answer This Question
A: Hi,
I am not sure what is meant by the loop on the end. If you are speaking of the end of the rope that is folded back and there is a clear shrink tube, there is sometimes a loop but it is not rated to hold anything. If you are speaking of a loop on the top where there is a thimble eye, then yes it is large enough and it can be used for safety. it has to have a back braid and a thimble eye.
