A:  Any equipment will indent the floor as it settles but that is common on all sports floors The advantage is reduced vibration and sound and the aerobic properties of the material on your body

              Q:Can you actually exercise (i.e. cardio) on this floor, or is it just meant to be used as padding under treadmills, etc.? I'd be installing over a tile floor and need to protect knees/ankles/shins. Thanks!

I ask this as my wife and I plan to place our yoga mat's on top of the gym floor mat's. The yoga mat will not be as stable as if our mats were a flat surface but it will be substantially better than using the yoga mat directly on the carpet Thanks!
