A:  Adam, The bars will bend and distort but not necessarily fail. Vertical pickets and horizontal sections are hollow steel tube. The mounting bracket inserts are solid steel. Hope this helps. Thank You, Grisham Bros.

A:  Kamn, The 30 x 54 size is as close as we are going to get to your window size. I assume there is some type of trim around the outer portion of the window jamb. You can use the 3" stand-off or flush mount brackets. If you center the window bar on the window frame, then you will only have a 3-1/2" gap at the top and bottom. Hope this helps. A:  Gem11, Yes, can be used to protect a glass panel on an entry door. Must be able to secure to the the window bar mounting brackets to the remaining door slab surrounding the glass. If no raised frame around the glass, then I would suggest using the flush mount brackets and four carriage bolts to replace the non-reversing screws supplied with the mounting brackets. You will need to measure your door thickness to determine the carriage bolt length. Most doors are 1-7/8" thick, plus 1/8 for the bracket flange and 1/2" penetration through the door body. 1/4"or 3/8" diamater x 2-1/2" inch long carriage bolts should work fine. Finish with domed metal nuts on the inside portion of the door. If you do have a raised trim around the glass, then 3" inch stand-off brackets are your only other option. Same fasteners apply.
