Q:I am trying to remove the deck screws from a composite deck that was installed 4-1/2 years ago. I am not sure what brand they are but they are similar to your product SKU # 274346 . Almost every one is stripping when I try to remove it. I am using a #2 square drive bit and low speed on the drill. Because the top 1/2" of threads are the opposite direction from the bottom1-1/2 " of threads, could this may be causing the problem?
How can these be removed?
